Continuity of Care
Continuity of Care has many researched advantages for patients and as such we highly recommend that if you have found a Doctor you feel meets your needs, that you aim to see that Doctor for your general healthcare needs. It allows not only a relationship to be built it also means better patient care and outcomes.
If you have been to other practices in the past, and would like to transfer your regular care to Trinity GPs, we can easily obtain your personal health records to ensure we have your medical history. This way we can give you the best medical care possible.
Prescription Requests
If you require a script only, please contact our administration staff and they will forward your request to a Clinician. The decision to issue a script with or without a review rests on the Clinician (GP). The standard fee for script only requests is $20+ GST. Payment completion is mandatory before scripts can be handed over . To ensure that you do not run out of script, it is your responsibility to make such requests at least 1 week before you run out of your scripts
There are occasions when your Doctor may need to arrange for your results to be advised to you over the phone. When this happens your Doctor will need to be the person discussing these results with you as our Reception staff are not medically trained and can not give out this information. If you could please refrain from asking Reception Staff for results we would appreciate it.
Contacting your Doctor
Most queries for your Doctor are best discussed in a consultation. It also limits the interruption to other patients consultations if calls are coming in regularly to the Doctors for follow up.
So if you have a question, or need some medical advice, best you make an appointment unless your Doctor as specifically asked for you to call them.
Preventative Healthcare Reminder System
We believe that prevention is better than cure, and we offer a preventative healthcare reminder service that, based on your healthcare requirements sends you appropriate services information. If you do not wish to be part of this system, please tell your Doctor or the receptionists.
Work Cover Appointments
Work Cover Appointments are not Bulk Billed. Please see or speak to reception about the fee schedule for these appointments.
